Hello, everyone! Today my daughter and I practiced letter sounds and recognition a bit. It was a super fun activity and I wanted to share it with you!
We have some great alphabet plastic cookie cutters that we used with Playdoh. She rolled out the dough with a kid sized rolling pin by Melissa and Doug. I couldn’t find the one we have but here is an expensive one on Amazon. We use it all the time! Then she cut out whatever letters she wanted with the cookie cutters. While she was doing that, I played THIS. It is an awesome group of learning songs and the first one deals with letter sounds. I did some things around the house and she played for a good while with the Playdoh. After she was done cutting them out we pointed to and identified the different letters on the table that she had cut. Simple, fun, awesome!
